Stopped in today for a burger, heard they were good from the girls in the gas station next door. I decided to go with the steak sandwich because, come on...chicken fried steak! I'm glad I did...it was delicious. Didn't get a chance to sample anything else on the menu, but if all they made was that steak sandwich...I'd be back for more!

The food was awesome, and it was a good old big hamburger, not from a chain. I've been craving a good burger lately, happen to be in Jackson, driving by, the old fashioned Drive in look was enticing. You need to check this out. It is not "fast food!" The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ran across my Famous Steak Sandwich pics. Also mighty tasty!! Don't drive by!

Pretty good for the area. There's only two "dairy bars" (burger joints) in town, Ed's Drive In being one of them. The other one was sub-par when the wife and I tried it out. Won't go back. Ed's on the other hand is a go-to place for a great burger and fries. The milkshakes are great as well. For me, the double-bacon cheeseburger with a small seasoned fries and sweet-tea hits the spot. The Mrs typically gets a bacon-cheesburger, onion rings and a milkshake. Consistent as always. The cashiers, well.... they take the order and that's about it. Some don't really have any personality or friendliness but I ain't there for that. Miss Donna, when she is there, is the shining star of that place.

Great experience for breakfast! Had the bacon, egg & cheese on toast and it was exactly as expected! Husband had the breakfast gumbo and it was FINE. Just spicy enough, good amount of breakfast meats. Great deal for the money. Will return for breakfast for sure!
